The Fifth Theory Of Personality

The project aims to challenge the traditional approach to understanding personality. While the four major theories of personality in science focus on the psychological aspects of an individual, this project suggests that such an approach is insufficient for fully grasping the complexities of personality. The series was created by combining classical and experimental photography techniques. This blending of photo techniques is a detailed exploration of the artistic domain of photography, and the process emphasizes the complexity of a person. At the same time, the fusion of techniques introduces a contemporary dimension, challenging established norms and pushing the boundaries of conventional visual representation of portraits. This merging of classical and experimental photographic techniques is a visual dialogue. The monochromatic palette further enhances the thematic coherence, offering a visual continuity that reflects the personality binary. Through this meticulous synthesis, the project attempts to capture the essence of personality/portraiture/.
